What to expect
Whilst every job is different, there are some things which you can depend on to be the same. Our level of service and attention to every detail is paramount. We understand for some of our customers the very thought of a renovation or build can be a very daunting task and so here we have provided a rough guise of what to expect when you give us a call.
Initial visit.
Our first port of call is always your home, to discuss your requirements. You can tell us your ideas and we will offer guidance and advise on any design and planning issues which you may need to consider.
Should you need to contact an architect or structural engineer, we will be able to offer some recommendations in these areas to get the ball rolling.
We do not charge a fee for this initial visit.
Quotation and Schedule
Once we are clear on your needs and have the necessary plans (if applicable) we will then prepare an itemised quotation.
If you accept our quotation and wish to progress to the planning stage we will then provide you with a deposit agreement.
This agreement will list the total amount due, an estimated timescale, a start date and a payment schedule.
The signed contract and deposit amount will then be required to secure your booking.
The deposit payment enables us to allocate a slot in our programme and get started with all of the planning and material orders, ready for the agreed start date.
Construction
Absolute Care control every aspect of the construction phase, including services, building works, bathrooms, kitchens and decoration (if applicable). The whole job is fully project managed from start to finish to ensure smooth continuous running and a high quality of finish.
During construction a payment plan will be in place. In general we are paid weekly by bank transfer for an agreed amount, with a final sum due once all work has been finished to your complete satisfaction.
At the end of the project we will provide any electrical/plumbing certificates, building regulation consents and 3rd party guarantees and certificates.
We also offer a defects liability period of 6 months after practical completion.
